the better man.

I just remembered something.
I meet the most ridiculous people.
Ever.

Saturday I was at Marina Square.
I was at the toilet and washing my hands at the basin.
After peeing.
Like any other normal sane person.
And then, because the hand dryer is a stupid invention and doesn't work,
I happily flicked my hands so they'd dry.
See.
Sane.
Everyone does it.

AND THEN,
suddenly,
I felt sprinkles/droplets/whatever.
And I turned to find some woman glaring.
At me.
So, I stared at her for awhile.
And then,
I realised,
that
SHE FLICKED WATER AT ME.

Seriously.
SERIOUSLY.

Okay, presumably because I sprayed water on her.
BUT, in my case it was an ACCIDENT.
What was she, five ?!
I was completely stunned.
And bewildered.
But in my bewilderment I was still gracious and I apologised.
Okay it was more incredulous than apologetic.
But, I was in shock so I deserve credit.

AND she just glared back and continued washing her hands.
BEYOND RUDE.

And then I really wanted to laugh.
But I was scared the flicky water woman would do something.
Like flick more water at me.
So I couldn't laugh.

.. People are completely ridiculous.
Seriously.

Maybe I should have flicked water back at her.
We could have had a nice flicky water fight.

Am so gracious my mom should be proud.
